A Certified Anti-Corruption Leader (CACL), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), and Certified Anti-Corruption Manager (CACM), and having passed the four parts of the U.S. CPA examination with distinguished scores, Mr. Masoud brings over two decades of strategic leadership, investigative experience, and advisory work to institutions seeking stronger defenses against fraud, corruption, and governance failures.

Professional background

Throughout his career, Mr. Masoud has consulted on complex litigation matters involving allegations of corporate fraud, improper financial reporting, and economic crimes. His work supports executive leadership, boards of directors, and senior management in strengthening institutional safeguards to deter, prevent, detect, and correct corruption risks through advisory services, certification programs, research, and specialized training.

Under his leadership, The AACI’s Middle East and Africa initiatives have expanded significantly through partnerships with universities, governmental agencies, financial institutions, and corporations. He has played a central role in introducing The AACI’s flagship certification programs, including the Certified Anti-Corruption Manager (CACM) and the Certified Anti-Corruption Fellow (CACF), to key professional communities and markets.

Mr. Masoud holds an MBA with distinction from Pittsburg State University, Kansas, USA. He is affiliated with leading professional bodies, including The American Anti-Corruption Institute (AACI), the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA), Australia, and the Institute of Financial Accountants (IFA), United Kingdom.
